THE EXHIBIT- nerves and all

So, it finally happened. The exhibit went very well. The nervousness started a day before and lasted just about as the first person came in. Doing the first exhibit taught me quite alot of things.

1. Less is more

2. it would be nice to have the artist statement written next to the work

3. get pictures taken

4. make sure I get to talk to the press about my work

I have never been the selfpromoter type but I have learnt this after half of my life is over, that without letting the world know what all you can do there is no way you can get somewhere. Sharing one's work is extremely important.

Anyhow, i got very excited seeing my picture next to the article for the show, though no credit was given, however, it feels great. Another milestone achieved! Now onto the next venture!
